On the Hunt for the Silver Buffalo: The Elusive Marvel/DC 13×19 Wall Art

Every good nerd knows that exhilarating feeling you get when you start or complete a collection. It’s a sense of accomplishment and the journey can be heartbreaking, rewarding, and more times than not; very, very frustrating.

About three weeks ago, a local bookshop owner in my town of Columbia, TN asked me if I had seen the brand new pieces of comic art in the loft of his shop, ‘The Old Curiosity Bookshop.’ I regularly visit the loft because that’s where the traditional ‘geek media’ or fantasy, sci-fi, and comics are kept, but I had not viewed the pieces of art he was so proudly beaming about. That’s where I encountered the ‘Silver Buffalo’ for the first time.

Thanos and his role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘The Avengers 2’

I’m sure a lot of you out there have already picked up a copy of The Avengers. Those of you who have already seen the hugely successful superhero romp are also aware of Thanos making a surprise appearance during the mid-credits scene. With more information recently surfacing on the Mad Titan’s inclusion in both The Avengers 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy, we can start to speculate how Marvel plans to lay out phase two of their movie lineup.

ABC greenlights Joss Whedon’s S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show

Remember that underrated film that flew under the radar this year called The Avengers? Looks like it did well enough for ABC to immediately give the greenlight to a TV series called S.H.I.E.L.D. that will be related to the movie franchise. Not only that, Joss Whedon will be leading the way for it as well.
